Robotic Ultrasonic Cleaners
The ultrasonic cleaning process is a comparatively hands-off process. In fact, it’s a no-hands-at-all process. The cleaning takes place within a submerged cleaning chamber, and there is no scrubbing by humans included in the process. This is one of the principal advantages of ultrasonic cleaning over other kinds of parts cleaning equipment: they are effective without requiring worker intervention. They can quickly, effectively and thoroughly clean parts largely independent of the intervention of humans. Some models, of course, do require some human intervention, namely for the purpose of inserting and removing parts from the cleaner before and after cleaning cycles. But robotic ultrasonic cleaners eliminate even the need for this kind of human intervention.
Robotic parts washers accomplish basically the same tasks as non-robotic parts washers; they use ultrasonic waves to induce cavitation in a cleaning solution in which a part is submerged. The bubbles caused by cavitation interact with contaminants on the surfaces of the submerged parts in a way that causes the contaminants to become dislodged. The result is a product that is thoroughly cleansed of surface contaminants. The difference between robotic ultrasonic parts washers and non-robotic cleaners is that robotic cleaners allow for the possibility of automatic loading and unloading of parts. This allows for the process to involve a bare minimum of worker presence and intervention, which means that they can be much less expensive than ultrasonic parts washing equipment that requires human oversight. They can also have a higher output capacity because of their automatic loading capabilities.
These machines are very valuable in large-scale cleansing processes, such as in the processing of large volumes of metal products that have to be cleaned before they are surface-treated. Because they increase output capacity and decrease cost, robotic ultrasonic cleaners are exceptionally valuable industrial utilities.
