The challenge included specific requirements whereSpringfieldwas tasked with inserted 3 punched holes in 3PEM-type clinching studs. The company was able to conquer the task by conducting an “SVA” (supplier value analysis) which led toSpringfieldcrafting a cost-reduction proposal with the solution to the task. This ended in a long term contract with the customer and yet again-Springfield was able to exercise their competence, speed, and quality to an expectation exceeding level.
